Description: Mary Berry from Bath Domestic Science College is shown cooking soused pike from a seventeenth century recipe for BBC2 programme Collector's World. Unable to find fresh pike, an appeal was made to local anglers who duly came up trumps. Mary Berry was brought up in Charlcombe and famous today in the popular television programme the Great British Bake Off.
