Description: Built in 1788-1789 by Thomas Baldwin as part of the development of the Bathwick Estate, the chapel was enlarged in 1804 and then again in 1821 by H.E. Goodridge when the forecourt was filled in. Where the main door is was once a window with side entrances. The upper storey was altered in 1862. The Rev. William Jay preached here for 63 years, from 1791 until 1853.
