Description: Messrs. Manners & Gill are to undertake enlargement of the church and rebuilding of the tower for an estimated cost of £2,000. It includes a letter from the Rector concerning the expenses and reluctantly returning the gift of land to the Council as he cannot afford to proceed with the works, which will cost considerably more than the estimated amount.
