Description: The proposed line of the new London, Newbury and Bath (Direct) Railway main line into Bath Spa G.W.R. station. It would have run parallel to the Great Western Railway line through Bathwick and Widcombe and over the line of the Kennet and Avon Canal at various locations, but the bill failed to get through the House of Commons in 1846.
