Description: William Tylee of the mill, Monkton Combe, suffered pranks from an evil spirit, which even neighbouring hamlets feared. He sought William Abrahall, an astrologer who tried to get rid of the ghost, but fleeced the family for money. He was later apprehended as a rogue and vagabond.
