Description: The architect is John Lowder and calls are made for the donation of more money for the building work which is more expensive than planned. The public deemed the first plan as too plain, but the addition of the ornamental style of English Gothic is expensive and requires more money. It is hoped to open the church in the summer. Holy Trinity Church in James Street West opened in 1822.
Newspaper cutting, 12th March 1822.
