Description: Built in 1868-1869 for the Midland Railway as the Queen Square Station, its construction demolished the western row of houses in Seymour Street. It was shared with the Somerset & Dorset Railway until the last passenger trains ran in 1966. James Street West to the right of the station is also now much changed.
