Description: Mr. E. Hunt, surgeon (compiler of the scrapbook collection) comments that the epigram concerning the statue is not, as often claimed, by Chesterfield, but a verse of a poem by Robert Southey concerning a picture of Nash with the word 'statue' substituted. He goes on to examine when the statue appeared in the Pump Room.
