Description: Monsieur Marbleu was a character in the play 'Monsieur Tonson'. Henry Gatti (1774-1844) was born near Bath and first acted on the Bath stage in 1804. He moved to London in 1813 and spent the rest of his career, until 1833, at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
