Description: A fabulous view of the whole Southgate area before being demolished and redeveloped. Note the curious temporary bridge to enable repair work to be made to the wall under the skew bridge. The Recreation ground is shown before the sports centre was built. Note the buildings still standing on the site that became Avon Street Car Park. This whole area will shortly be redeveloped.
