Description: As intended by the architect of the work. From the wonderfully named - Choir Gaure, Vulgarly called Stonehenge on Salisbury Plain. Described, Restored and Explained in a letter to the Right Honourable Edward, Late Earl of Oxford and Earl Mortimer. By John Wood, Architect. Printed at the Theatre in the year 1747 and sold by C. Hitch in Paternoster Row; and S. Birt in Ave Mary Lane, London; by J. Leake in Bath and by B. Collins in Salisbury.
