Description: Often said to be the earliest map of Bath. Contains a map of Bath, Somersetshire in the sixteenth century. Includes a key containing the King's Bath, the Cross Bath, the Common Bath, the Abbey, the Mill Bath and the Market Place. From William Smith's Description of England, with arms of the nobility produced in 1588 which is in the Sloane Manuscripts in the British Library
