Description: This plan uses small three dimensional illustrations to give an impression of the city. It is notable that the illustrations focus on all the great buildings and architectural landmarks as the main attractions of Bath. By comparison, the spa which had been declining in popularity since the turn of the century hardly gets a mention. The map also shows some of the buildings just beyond the borders of the city, including Beckford's Tower on Lansdown Hill and the recently opened Lansdown Cemetery. Note the new Great Western Railway.
