Description: This cross was Erected at the Expense of the Earl of Melford, 1688. One of the cherubs from the cross can still be seen in a niche above a shop in New Bond Street. The dimensions of the bath are given as: Length 24 ft. 6 in., Breadth North End 19 ft. 11 in., South End 12 ft. 7 in. Contains 53 Tuns 47 Gallons.
