Description: The photograph features Major General B.B. Crozier G.O.C., Lady Edwina Lewin, the Mayor or Bath and the Mayoress. Field Marshal Frederick Sleigh Roberts, 1st Earl Roberts, Bt., V.C., K.G., K.P., G.C.B., O.M., G.C.S.I., G.C.I.E., P.C. (30th September 1832) 14th November 1914) was a distinguished Anglo-Irish soldier and one of the most successful commanders of the Victorian era. From 1900, he was based mainly in England and so was able to pay regular visits to his sister, Mrs. Sherston, who lived at 9, Queen's Parade.
