Description: Notable for the bright white buildings that started the massive redevelopment of Bath. The police station (1962) on Manvers Street in the foreground, Northwick House (1962) and Woolworth's block (1961) just behind in the centre and the Technical College (City of Bath College) (1957-1963) in the background. These buildings set the precedent for the developments that followed.
