Description: Die-cut paper lace and embossed flowers surrounding a plain centre with (damaged) painted/glued on paper flowers which remove to reveal handwritten messages: 'I love but thee,' 'I lived in hope,' 'thy smile is sweet to me,' 'thou art dear to me.' Handwritten message at the top of this section: 'If in your heart, so truly kind/I could a vacant corner find/Oh! it would be my sweetest care/To write my name for ever there!' Inner border of die-cut and gilded paper lace and embossed flowers enclosing a net backing on which is glued a golden flower vase with a selection of differently coloured flowers.
