Description: Looking southwest. Walter Gullock was a coal merchant who traded from Station Cottage. Gullock's coalyard was located in front of the three buildings set back from Claverton Street. The left and centre houses are the rear of 1 & 2, St. Mark's Cottages. The house to the right of this was once a part of 12, Lyncombe Place, but in the mid-1950s it became No. 13. They were both owned by Herbert Braines & Son Ltd., wholesale fruit merchants. The Jolly Sailor Inn is indicated with an arrow.
Biro sketch No. 23 by Peter Coard, 29th December 1963.
